Cervix cancer is preventable and the best time to take action to prevent/avoid the development of disease is through vaccination and regular screening. The traditional PAP screening test looks for the abnormal changes in the cells collected from the surface of the women’s cervix and thus helps in preventing the chance to miss the disease. Newer technologies use the same kind of cervical sample collected but instead looks for the presence of DNA from the HPV virus.
However, here is a journey of cervix cancer survivor (Mrs. Chandrakanta) as told by her husband Jagdish Kumar. He shares that his wife was diagnosed with cervix cancer at Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi. The treatment continued for 2 months. The hospital suggested to go for radiotherapy but he says he was a bit skeptical about the entire process. He instead went to Haldwani for a few days to get the ‘Desi Dawai’. He got the medicine for about 10 days but again saw no signs of improvement. In the meanwhile, one day he came across Dr. Tarang Krishna’s show and approached Cancer Healer Center. He started with his wife’s cancer treatment and saw a tremendous improvement in just 15 days.
