This is the story of Mr. Venkateswarlu, 3rd stage Esophageal Cancer Survivor.
Mr. Venkateswarlu, a 65 old person, suddenly was not able to eat anything. So his family took him to a hospital.
The doctors did an Endoscopy and Biopsy. The results of both the tests showed that he was suffering from Oesophageal cancer in the third stage. After doing chemotherapy 3 times, the doctors said that he recovered partly as the size of tumour got reduced from 18mm to 8mm. Since the tumor was reducing, the doctors advised for a surgery to completely get rid of the tumour. But the family members refused to opt for a surgery of such a senior patient. The reason being very simple, that old aged patient can have more complications and thus the sufferings might increase.
