The Lavender Ribbon Fiesta
This was a fundraiser event organized under the Umbrella of Celebrate Life. The aim was to bring together the fashion and Art Fraternities and raise awareness about cancer. The funds collected were meant for the underprivileged cancer patients. This was yet another effort by Dr. Deepica Krishna in spreading cancer awareness. Fashion designers like Joy Mitra, Nikhita Tandon and Nitya Bajaj showcased their collections accessorized with elegant precious jewellery by Shri Hari Diagems.
The fashion show was followed by a silent auction featuring renowned designers, accessory labels and international brands, brought together by Dr. Deepica Krishna. Ameesha Patel, Sonal Chauhan and Hussain Kuwajerwala supported the event by their gracious power walk. With Shiv Khera and Dr Tarang Krishna talking on how to thrive and find inspiration through a life changing illness, the event also saluted cancer survivors. Pooja Gogia, Neetu Thadani, Gaurav Lakhani, Mallika Jain, Dharna Hassija, Sonali Bhasin, Poonam Bhagat, Teresa Beckwith, Lisa Blazer, Mallika Jain, Inderjeet Singh Banga and Nahoko Fujiwara were also there at the event.
